Information on Recognition

In order to obtain recognition as a Bupa Australia Recognised provider, for Aromatherapy massage benefit payment purposes, the applicant will:

Have completed a Diploma in Aromatherapy at an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO). (Applicants without an Australian Registered Training Organisation qualification must have their current competencies assessed by a RTO to determine equivalency.)

The following course meets these minimum requirements:

HLT51407 Diploma of Aromatherapy

Any educational qualifications attained by distance only learning will not be recognised.

The following associations are considered a professional association which meets the requirements of rule 10 of the Private Health Insurance (Accreditation) Rules 2008 for Aromatherapy provider recognition purposes.
