Information on Recognition

Applicants must be a member of the Hearing Aid Council of Australia, the Audiological Society of Australia, or the Australian College of Audiology or Audiometrists Society of Australia and be in private practice. They must then obtain a provider number from Medicare Australia who will notify all health funds of the provider number and the relevant practice information. Medicare Australia can be contacted on 132 150 or via www.medicareaustralia.gov.au/providers/.
