Information on Recognition

Applicants must have completed a degree in Orthotics / Prosthetics or belong to or be eligible for membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA).

In addition, you must be in private practice. Please note that Orthotic Technicians will not be recognised for benefit payment purposes.

Please note that by accepting recognition with our fund you are agreeing to abide by our Terms of Recognition.

If you wish to register as an Orthotist with our fund please fax your Practice details, contact details and a copy of either your Degree in Orthotics/Prosthetics or current Membership details with AOPA to 03 9937 4419.
